When we disobey God’s word, we will disappoint God.
- Acts.5:29:29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!
- 29. அதற்குப் பேதுருவும் மற்ற அப்போஸ்தலரும்: மனுஷருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதைப்பார்க்கிலும் தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதே அவசியமாயிருக்கிறது.
- Ephesians 2:2:2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

- 6. கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமற்போன எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட யுத்தபுருஷரான யாவரும் மாளுமட்டும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் நாற்பது வருஷம் வனாந்தரத்தில் நடந்து திரிந்தார்கள்; கர்த்தர் எங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படி அவர்கள் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்ட பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிற தேசத்தை அவர்கள் காண்பதில்லை என்று கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டிருந்தார்.
When we disbelieve God’s word, we will disappoint God.
- 1 Corinthians.1:21:21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
- 21. எப்படியெனில், தேவஞானத்துக்கேற்றபடி உலகமானது சுயஞானத்தினாலே தேவனை அறியாதிருக்கையில், பைத்தியமாகத் தோன்றுகிற பிரசங்கத்தினாலே விசுவாசிக்கிறவர்களை இரட்சிக்க தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமாயிற்று.
- Matthew 24:37-39: 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

- Luke 1:19-20: 19 The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. 20 And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.”
- 19. தேவதூதன் அவனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: நான் தேவசந்நிதானத்தில் நிற்கிற காபிரியேல் என்பவன்; உன்னுடனே பேசவும், உனக்கு இந்த நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கவும் அனுப்பப்பட்டு வந்தேன்;20. இதோ, தகுந்தகாலத்திலே நிறைவேறப்போகிற என் வார்த்தைகளை நீ விசுவாசியாதபடியினால், இவைகள் சம்பவிக்கும் நாள்மட்டும் நீ பேசக்கூடாமல் ஊமையாயிருப்பாய் என்றான்.
When we are in disunity, we will disappoint God.
- John 13:35: 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
- 35. நீங்கள் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்புள்ளவர்களாயிருந்தால், அதினால் நீங்கள் என்னுடைய சீஷர்களென்று எல்லாரும் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்றார்.

- 1. இதோ, சகோதரர் ஒருமித்து வாசம்பண்ணுகிறது எத்தனை நன்மையும் எத்தனை இன்பமுமானது?
- 1 Corinthians 1:10-11:10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,[a] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. 11 My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you.
- 10. சகோதரரே, நீங்களெல்லாரும் ஒரே காரியத்தைப் பேசவும், பிரிவினைகளில்லாமல் ஏகமனதும் ஏகயோசனையும் உள்ளவர்களாய்ச் சீர்பொருந்தியிருக்கவும்வேண்டுமென்று, நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தினாலே உங்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லுகிறேன்.11. ஏனெனில், என் சகோதரரே, உங்களுக்குள்ளே வாக்குவாதங்கள் உண்டென்று குலோவேயாளின் வீட்டாரால் உங்களைக்குறித்து எனக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
When we discord God’s timing, we will disappoint God.
- Romans 16:17:17 I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
- 17. அன்றியும் சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் கற்றுக்கொண்ட உபதேசத்திற்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பிரிவினைகளையும் இடறல்களையும் உண்டாக்குகிறவர்களைக்குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையாயிருந்து, அவர்களை விட்டு விலகவேண்டுமென்று உங்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லுகிறேன்.
- Psalm.31:14-15:But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” 15 My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.
- 14. நானோ கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்; நீரே என் தேவன் என்று சொன்னேன்.15. என் காலங்கள் உமது கரத்திலிருக்கிறது; என் சத்துருக்களின் கைக்கும் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களின் கைக்கும் என்னைத் தப்புவியும்.
- Jonah.1:3: 3 But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.
- 3. அப்பொழுது யோனா கர்த்தருடைய சமுகத்தினின்று விலகி, தர்ஷீசுக்கு ஓடிப்போகும்படி எழுந்து, யோப்பாவுக்குப் போய், தர்ஷீசுக்குப் போகிற ஒரு கப்பலைக்கண்டு, கூலிகொடுத்து, தான் கர்த்தருடைய சமுகத்தினின்று விலகும்படி, அவர்களோடே தர்ஷீசுக்குப் போகக் கப்பல் ஏறினான்.
When we disrupt God’s plan, we will disappoint God.
- Jeremiah 29:32; 32 this is what the Lord says: I will surely punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his descendants. He will have no one left among this people, nor will he see the good things I will do for my people, declares the Lord, because he has preached rebellion against me.’”
- 32. இதோ, நான் நெகெலாமியனாகிய செமாயாவையும், அவன் சந்ததியையும் தண்டிப்பேன்; இந்த ஜனத்தின் நடுவிலே குடியிருப்பவன் ஒருவனும் அவனுக்கு இல்லாதிருப்பான்; நான் என் ஜனத்துக்குச் செய்யும் நன்மையை அவன் காண்பதில்லை என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கலகமுண்டாகப் பேசினான் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.
- 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2:As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. 2 And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith.
- 1. கடைசியாக, சகோதரரே, உங்களிடத்தில் கர்த்தருடைய வசனம் பரம்பி மகிமைப்படுகிறதுபோல, எவ்விடத்திலும் பரம்பி மகிமைப்படும்படிக்கும்,2. துர்க்குணராகிய பொல்லாத மனுஷர் கையினின்று நாங்கள் விடுவிக்கப்படும்படிக்கும், எங்களுக்காக வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; விசுவாசம் எல்லாரிடத்திலுமில்லையே.
- Numbers 22:32:32 The angel of the Lord asked him, “Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me.
- 32. கர்த்தருடைய தூதனானவர் அவனை நோக்கி: நீ உன் கழுதையை இதனோடே மூன்றுதரம் அடித்ததென்ன? உன் வழி எனக்கு மாறுபாடாயிருக்கிறதினால், நான் உனக்கு எதிரியாகப் புறப்பட்டு வந்தேன்.
Reflection
- Disobedience disappoints God. In what ways do we disobey God deliberately or ignorantly in our daily life? How can you rectify them?
- Disbelief disappoints God. In what ways do we disbelieve God in our daily life? How can we change our unbeliefs?
- Disunity disappoints God. In what ways do we keep or maintain our disunity among us in our life? How can we break this bondage in our relationships?
- Discording God’s timing disappoints God. In what ways do we delay or reject to do what God asks us to do on time? How can we rectify this attitude?
- Disrupting God’s plan disappoints God. In what ways do we distrust God’s plan as it is not our plan in our daily life? How can we submit to God’s plans?
